Yaskawa MP2000iec Series

MP2000iec products synchronize sequence control and motion control in one tightly integrated platform. Position, speed, torque, and phase control such as electronic gearing and electronic cam profiles are available for complex motion in case-packing, form-fill-seal, labeling, and flow-wrapping machinery. Rotary, linear, and direct drive servomotors are available in 110, 230, and 480 VAC options. The controller's modular design can be self-configured to reduce setup time by automatically recognizing networked amplifiers and option modules.

The MP2000iec Series are machine controllers with motion engines integrated with IEC61131-3 and PLCopen. They include a built-in web server that is compatible with the most popular network protocols. The series is comprised of the MP2300Siec and the MP2310iec.

MP2000iec Features

  • Available in 4,8, and 16-axis
  • MP2300Siec models have one open slot for local I/O modules, while the MP2310iec models have three open slots.
  • MP2300Siec models are available preconfigured with a local I/O module which has 16 optically isolated inputs, 16 optically isolated outputs and a master encoder input.
  • Users can select from one of 8 local I/O modules for the one open slot on the MP2300Siec models or up to three modules on the MP2310iec models
  • Expanded I/O can be attained through EtherNet/IP, Modbus/TCP, and/or MECHATROLINK-II network I/O modules from third parties
  • Open standards EtherNet/IP and Modbus/TCP for connectivity to nearly every HMI and PLC on the market.
  • IEC61131-3 means that programs are developed and executed with predictable behavior.
  • The controller can operate local Sigma-5 outputs. This reduces panel cost and space requirements when just a couple of outputs are necessary.
  • The MECHATROLINK motion network provides a channel for configuring the machine from a single location with one software tool.
  • Choose from eight option cards offered for the expansion slot to accommodate most machine requirements.
  • Numerous third-party remote I/O modules such as Phoenix, Wago, and Opto 22 can be interfaced with the system via MECHATROLINK and Ethernet.
  • A built in web server offers standard controller diagnostic information eliminating the need for special software for maintenance personnel
