Knowledge Management

Knowledge Management

There are two ways on how to manage knowledge across the enterprise, manual data collection (very cumbersome) and automatic collection of energy data stored to a central location allowing seamless integration of the energy data to the enterprise business system. This allows employees to have access to both real-time and historical energy data which helps them to understand the trends about energy usage in a plant. Dashboards and analytical solutions will enable executives to understand the real value from a huge amount of energy data collected and present the data in front of the appropriate employees for efficient decision making.

Energy Management Software

The software helps you view energy in financial terms. Unifies management of all utilities and emissions using dashboards, KPI’s, dimensional analytics, visualization and reporting. Offers advanced energy modeling, rate configuration, wide area event monitoring and alarming. Offering secure customized browser-based access, sophisticated load aggregation and arithmetic calculation capabilities. Scalable from entry-range power monitoring to full featured full functional sytems.

Historian

Many large organizations are turning to enterprise Historian which allows seamless access to both real-time data, as well as historical trends of processes and energy management, leading to more informed decisions and better energy utilization

Networking

Gescan offers a wide range of products for many transmission medias such as copper, glass fibre or also "wireless" with data transmission rates ranging from 10 Mbit/s to 1 Gigabit/s. In this way process and manufacturing data is not just available at the field level, but is seamlessly integrated into higher-level data acquisition systems. We have meters that use open architecture protocols such as industrial standard ModBus RTU and DNP 3.0 making them easy to integrate to third party systems and PLCs

Energy Management Software Benefits
